The U.S. Embassy in Albania has issued an important message on social media, encouraging citizens to cooperate in the fight against drug trafficking.

In its announcement, the embassy calls on individuals who have information regarding illegal activities related to narcotics trafficking or money laundering from drug profits to share this information with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). A dedicated and confidential tip line has been set up for this purpose.

Here is the embassy’s full statement:

“The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s tip line is active. DEA encourages anyone with information about drug trafficking or drug-related money laundering to share it with DEA personnel via WhatsApp at: +1 571 502-7846 or via email at: [email protected]. All information will be kept confidential.

We thank all those who have already submitted reliable tips supporting DEA operations. The United States remains committed to working with Albania to combat drug trafficking and related money laundering to protect the citizens of both our countries and prevent the flow of illegal drugs into the United States.”
