One month after President Donald Trump took office, the U.S. Embassy in Albania has issued a response by sharing two official statements from the White House.
In its statement, the embassy emphasizes that the new administration is advancing a foreign policy centered on the principle of “America First.”
“This was the first month of the Trump Administration. President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are delivering results and advancing a foreign policy aimed at making our country safer, stronger, and more prosperous. And we are just getting started,” reads the embassy’s post.
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has reacted through a post on Instagram, reiterating President Trump’s vision for foreign policy.
“Since taking office, President Trump has declared that U.S. foreign policy will be based on the principle of ‘America First.’ Within just the first 30 days, we have seen significant progress on some of the most pressing challenges we face around the world. This is just the beginning. America’s national interest will continue to guide our foreign policy. We will not stop in our efforts to make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous,” writes Rubio.
The new White House administration has emphasized strengthening U.S. foreign policy, placing national security and prosperity at the center of its diplomatic actions.
