England has been ordered to play two matches behind closed doors as punishment for the behavior of its fans seen during the Euro 2020 final at the Wembley Stadium.

UEFA also slashed the national team with a €100,000 fine “for the lack of order and discipline inside and around the stadium, for the invasion of the field of play, for the throwing of objects, and for the disturbances during the national anthems,”.

England’s fans got physical against the police as they tried to break into the stadium without tickets in the final match won by Italy in a penalty shootout.

Another hundred ticketless fans actually managed to get in the stadium.

England is set to play against Albania on November 12, and according to UEFA’s decision, the national team fans will not be allowed.
