The Ambassador of the United States to Tirana joined on Friday a march against breast cancer “Pink Ribbon Reminds Me”, along with several politicians, breast cancer survivors, and activists.
On breast cancer awareness months the Ambassador recalled that early detection is imperative to increase chances of survival and living a normal healthy life.

The US Embassy announced that it has supported the event in the past 13 years, aiming to strengthen women through their wellbeing.
According to WHO, breast cancer is the most often diagnosticated form of cancer on a global scale.
In Albania, an estimated 700 women are diagnosed every year, with one-third succumbing to the disease.
