The verification process for the new district directors in the State Police is closed, while the names of the new leaders are expected to be announced next week.
After the completion of the verification process, 42 out of 43 applicants were qualified, while one was disqualified. Edvin Ndreu has been disqualified due to his rank. To apply, you must have the leadership rank, which Ndreu has earned, but it has not been announced because the workplace does not hold it, where he is currently the head of police station no. 6.
The other 42 applicants have qualified and on Saturday they will also give their interviews in front of the evaluation commission set up at the General Directorate of Police.
This commission will then make the evaluation with points and the list will be sent to the General Director of Police, Ilir Proda, and the latter will then determine the district police directors who will lead the winning candidates. This process ends early next week.
