The Vienna International Institute for Economic Studies estimates that during this year, the economy will grow by 3.8%, continuing at around 4% in the following two years.

The main drivers will be construction, tourism, and foreign investments. According to the Vienna Institute, the labor market is also expected to experience gradual improvement, while the decline in inflation will impact consumption.

The report also addresses the decision-making of President Donald Trump regarding trade tariffs, which, if implemented in Europe, could pose a serious risk to the continent’s economy.

Meanwhile, concerning the countries in the region, including Albania, the impact of American investments is assessed with concern.

Experts consider Trump’s tariffs a threat to the return of inflation, as trade conflicts could directly influence price increases. The European Union may be the most affected, as the largest industry of the economy, such as the automobile sector, would be harmed.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has made it clear that he intends to impose tariffs on the European Union as well, as he believes European countries are taking advantage of the U.S.
