The Kosovan politician who Albanians tend to think more highly than the others, precisely 81% of the respondents, is President Vjosa Osmani.
Only 9% of respondents thought negatively about Osmani, the lowest score compared to other politicians in Kosovo.
In general, Albanians think positively about key political personalities in Kosovo. 77% of respondents thought positively about Behgjet Pacolli, followed by Albin Kurti (76%) and Ramush Haradinaj (72%)
Only 63% of respondents had a positive stance on Hashim Thaci. The former president topped the list of most disliked leaders, with 1 in 4 Albanians (25.2%) expressing a negative opinion about him.
The leaders of the two largest opposition parties were less known to Albanians, respectively 1 in 5 people did not know who Lumir Abdixhiku or Memli Krasniqi was.
Euronews Albania’s Barometer is a nationwide survey involving 1,000 face-to-face interviews conducted from 20-29 October 2021, by MRB and Data Centrum.
