Hristijan Mickovski, the chairman of VMRO-DPMNE, seems to have succeeded in forming a new parliamentary majority.
The development comes after the party’s victory at the local polls, which saw the resignation of PM Zoran Zaev.
In a post shared on his social media page, Mickovski noted that Albanian parties have joined him in a coalition, namely Alliance for Albanians, Alternative and Besa Movement.
The latter has previously been in a coalition with Zaev’s LSDM.
“A new future is coming. Great challenges are ahead of us. We have a new parliamentary majority”, wrote Mickovski on Facebook.
