Polls in Shkodra will remain open until 6 PM.
Euronews Albania correspondent Teodor Gjerga reports that the decision was made after DP members continue to show up at the voting center to cast their ballot.
Shkodra has around 5,000 eligible voters.
Polls opened at 8 AM in 6 municipalities across Albania, namely in Shkodra, Durres, Vora, Lushnje, Diber, and Rrogozhina.
Flamur Noka told Euronews Albania that by early next week, DP’s faction led by Sali Berisha will reveal how it intends to formalize the candidates that won in the primaries.
