Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today that he thinks that Serbia will not be excluded from the imports of Russian oil.
That’s why Vucic says that they are preparing to buy more oil and he will talk about this tomorrow when he will announce the important long-term decisions about oil and gas for Serbia.
“Tomorrow you will hear our answer, there will be important decisions for Serbia”, Vucic told reporters.
He also pointed out that Serbia can import oil through barges, but that it is much more expensive and has many problems, so it is done through an oil pipeline.
He emphasized that he once offered and discussed with the then Prime Minister of Croatia the construction of the high-speed railway Belgrade – Zagreb – Ljubljana, considering that this is the fastest route for Serbia to Western and Central Europe.
