The Open Balkan meeting attended by five regional leaders commenced with a press conference in Ohrid, North Macedonia.

Four agreements are expected to be signed at the end of the summit:

  • Tackling tax evasion
  • Recognition of university diplomas
  • Cultural cooperation
  • Cooperation in the tourism sector

The participant countries are Albania, Serbia, and North Macedonia.

Montenegro is also participating for the first time, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, but under the role of the observer.

On Tuesday, the leaders of the five Western Balkan countries had an informal dinner.
