The right to register with the logo of the Democratic Party in the local elections of May 14 currently belongs to Enkelejd Alibeaj’s group.
According to the Commissioner of Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, the decision on this matter is not up to the CEC, but the latter can only recognize the documentation that comes from the Court and the National Register of Parties, where Lulzim Basha is still the registered chairman.
In addition, when asked about the expansion of electronic voting and counting on May 14, Celibashi indicated the objective of the CEC.
“Maybe in one or two more municipalities in addition to Vora, we can implement electronic voting, but it still remains to be seen if this week, or at most next week, we will receive a clear answer from the government in terms of whether or not we will have the means to finance this project “, said Celibashi.
