The Euronews Albania Barometer has conducted the first electoral survey for the Tirana District. The methodology used is once again a stratified random sample, and the sample size was 1,000 citizens interviewed face-to-face across the entire territory of the Tirana District. The data collection period for this first electoral survey of the Tirana District by the Euronews Albania Barometer was February 15-25, 2025.
Who do you think is the most suitable politician to be the country’s Prime Minister?

41.7% of citizens say that the most suitable candidate for Prime Minister is Edi Rama.
After him, in order:
- 19.4% Sali Berisha
- 8% Adriatik Lapaj
- 6.3% Agron Shehaj
- 3.2% Arlind Qori
- 1.2% Endri Shabani
- 3.5% others
- 16.7% answered “I don’t know”

Which party is most suitable to govern the country?

- 23.6% Democratic Party

Comparing the responses of citizens in the Tirana District with citizens across Albania for the same questions, the results show that Edi Rama as Prime Minister and the Socialist Party as the party that should lead the country are preferred by 1.3% and 1.1% fewer citizens in Tirana compared to all of Albania.
Meanwhile, regarding Sali Berisha as the preferred candidate for Prime Minister and PD as the party that should govern, if we refer to the same comparison between Tirana District and all of Albania, the results show that 0.5% fewer citizens in Tirana prefer Sali Berisha as Prime Minister, while 0.5% more citizens prefer PD as the ruling party.
