Journalist Poli Hoxha commented in Euronews Albania on the statements of the US ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, who said yesterday evening that Albanian politicians will not sleep at night if they are involved in corruption activities.

Hoxha said that the ambassador’s statement is a warning that corrupt politicians in the country will be hit through coordination between SPAK and the non-grata declaration.

Hoxha said current cases in SPAK, which will have new developments are expected to include sterilization, Gerdeci, as well as a case for which several letters of request have been sent from Cyprus.

“A wave of non-grata declarations accompanied by the progress of many developments in SPAK. As far as I know, accusations are expected these days for case number 1, which lasted a long time, the case involving Ilir Beqja, the case of sterilization. Several strong letters have arrived for both Gerdec and Cyprus. It seems that we have coordination or a resonance of the even closer encirclement of the Anglo-Americans for the class of corrupt politicians in cooperation with SPAK”, said Hoxha.
