The border police of Rinas arrested this Saturday the 38-year-old Chinese woman wanted as part of the “Red light 2” operation, where a group exploiting prostitution from Asia was hit.

The citizen in question, together with the 52-year-old Chinese woman who was arrested during the operation, provided visas to various citizens from Asia and brought them to Tirana where they used them for prostitution through online sites such as “Escort Tirana”.

When the girls tried to leave the prostitution network, they were threatened by the 2 pimps, and they had to pay up to 15,000 euros to “win” their freedom.

The materials in her charge were passed to the prosecutor’s office of Tirana for further actions.

“The services of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic and those of the Rinas Police Station, in implementation of the plan of joint measures to combat border crimes, based on the information provided by the police intelligence that in the Rinas PKK, a citizen would pass in search, for the exploitation of prostitution, they continued the coded police operation.

As a result, the Chinese citizen N. D., 38 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested and wanted for the criminal offenses of “Exploitation of prostitution”, “Owning premises for prostitution”, “Extortion through threats or violence to give property”. , and “Other intentional damage”, provided by articles 114, 115, 109-b, 90 of the Criminal Code.

The 38-year-old woman together with the citizen Y.Y., 52 years old (arrested earlier during the operation), allegedly recruited Chinese and Filipino citizens who then used them for prostitution. At the moment when the recruited girls wanted to withdraw from this criminal activity, the two arrested citizens, through the photos published on the page “Escort Tirana”, exerted violence against them and pressured the family members of the recruited girls”, it is stated in the announcement of the police.
