68.2% of Albanians think that the generation in their 20s today has an easier time coping with life than previous generations.

Asked by the Barometer in Euronews Albania, only 7.5% of Albanians think that young people of this age do not have an easier time coping with life than the previous generation.

78.1% of the 55-64 age group think that the generation up to 20 years old has it easier to move on in life. While those of the 45-54 age group think this way for 71.5% of citizens, followed by the 65-75 age group with 71.9%.

Younger age groups, around 20 years old, are less prejudiced. Thus, 70.9% of 25-34-year-olds think that young people have an easier time coping with life.

The 35-44 age group turns out to be even less prejudiced, where 62% think the life of 20-year-olds is even more affordable, followed by the 18-24 age group, 51% of whom think that life for young people is easier.

61.4% of Albanians agree with the expression that the generation in their 20s today wants things in life to be ready-made by their parents and society. Meanwhile, only 13.7% think the opposite, that they don’t want things ready from parents and society, and 25% are neutral.

Among those who think that the 20-something generation wants things ready from their parents and society, there are fewer young people in the age group of 18-24 with only 31.8%, while the trajectory only goes up, culminating with the age group of 65 -75 years old with 70.8%.
