The US ambassador, Yuri Kim, held a meeting this Tuesday with the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi.

The news was announced by the diplomat herself through a post on social media, where she emphasized that the focus of the meeting was defense cooperation, including the strengthening of cyber defense.

Kim said that the US will support Albania’s efforts to protect its people and territory.

“I met today with the Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi to discuss defense cooperation, including the strengthening of cyber defense.

The United States of America will always strongly support Albania’s efforts to protect its people and territory and to contribute to NATO’s goal of guaranteeing the freedom and security of all allies,” Yuri Kim wrote on Twitter.
