The US ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, received his counterpart in Albania, Yuri Kim in the capital of Prishtina.

The news was announced by Hovenier himself in a post on Twitter where he says that it was a pleasure to meet the American ambassador in Albania, while also adding that he considers her a friend.

In addition, he also indicated that amongst other things, they discussed cooperation and regional priorities.

“I was happy to welcome my friend and colleague, the American ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim to Kosovo to show her around Prishtina. Ambassador Kim and I enjoyed reminiscing about our shared history and had a wonderful conversation about our ongoing regional cooperation and priorities,” Hovenier wrote on Twitter.
