Journalist Milaim Zeka claimed that Serbia will not recognize Kosovo as an independent state for another 10 years.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Zeka said that all Kosovo needs from Serbia is the removal of obstacles to joining other international organizations.

“Serbia will not recognize Kosovo as an independent state, at least not for 20 years, but Kosovo will join many international organizations, and we will be a big state. Maybe after 10 years, Serbia will recognize Kosovo. As a state, we do not need recognition from Serbia, but we do need the removal of obstacles that Serbia is creating for Kosovo, in terms of our membership in international organizations.

Blinken’s phone call is a signal sent to Serbs and Albanians in the Balkans that the United States, at the highest level, is engaging in closing this agreement” – emphasized Zeka.
