Eleven wildfires have been reported over the past 24 hours, of which 8 have been extinguished, according to data from the National Civil Emergency Operations Center.

The fires have been extinguished in Skrapar, Elbasan, Maliq, Krujë, Lushnje, Saranda, Selenica and Mirdita.

Meanwhile, the fires continue to be active in the village of Bogë in Malësi e Madhe and the village of Rehovo in Poliçani.

During the last 24 hours, 255 operational forces from the fire protection and rescue service, Armed Forces, municipal forces, police forces, AdZM, forestry service, volunteer forces, 28 firefighting vehicles were engaged in the actions to extinguish the flames.

Also, after the intervention of two Greek planes, the fire in the village of Goranxi in the Municipality of Dropulli has been brought under control.
