‘101 roles, 102 lives’ is a documentary based on the real-life of the renowned Albanian actor from North Macedonia, Bajrush Mjaku.
Directed by Filip Heri, this feature is dedicated to the long-standing career and entire life’s work of Bajrush Mjaku and was first premiered last Friday at the Albanian Theater in Skopje, which has just been reconstructed and is ready to receive actors and their public like never before.
Today, Mjaku is 70 years old and still hasn’t given up on acting.
In an interview for Euronews Albania’s ‘Morning’ show, Mjaku said that so far, he has put 61 roles on stage at the Theater of Skopje.
‘I put my soul into each one of them,’ said Mjaku adding that it is difficult to choose one over the other.
For some time now, Mjaku’s fame and recognition have gone beyond the borders of his home country, North Macedonia, as he is now recognized and applauded by audiences all around Europe, and as far as Russia.
His two shows ‘Diary of a madman’ and ‘Father’ took Mjaku on a tour around the world.
His entire acting career has been accompanied by positive comments and praises from local and international professionals that have esteemed his work and continue to rank him amongst the most accomplished theater actors of Albanian origin.
