2.230 new COVID cases have beem reported today in Albania along with 5 fatalities attributed to the virus.

New cases were confirmed after results came back on 6.598 tests, which also confirmed that 1.894 citizens had successfully recovered.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in our country, a total of 218.679 known recoveries have been registered.

In addition, there are currently 24.436 active cases in cities all over Albania, the majority of whom however, are concentrated in the capital.

146 citizens have been hospitalized because of the virus, 14 of whom are receiving specialized care due to complications.

The ministry of health has continued its public appeals, telling citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible and comply with all the anti-COVID measures prescribed by health authorities.

All citizens over the age of 16 can get vaccinated in our country, in a health clinic or the closest vaccination center to them. Vaccination is also open to children over the age of 12, who suffer from autoimmune diseases and possess a doctors recommendation.
