There are currently 6 active wildfires in our country. According to data by the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies, rescue teams are working on putting them out.

Active fires are in the following areas:

1. In the Velcan village, Berat municipality
2. In the Boge village, Malesi e Madhe municipality
3. In the Ndershen village, administrative division Orosh, Mirdite municipality
4. In the Qukes Skenderbeg, Gramsh municipality, close to the Dardhe-Xhyre reservoir
5. In the Halil village, in the protected area of Zgerdhesh, Kruja municipality
6. In the Leminot village, Maliq municipality

In the past 24 hours, a total of 435 firefighters are working on extinguishing flames, along with armed forces, municipal police, public workers, forest experts, volunteers and 46 fire extinguishing trucks and 1 helicopter.
