1.549 citizens have been infected with COVID-19 in Albania. New cases were confirmed after results on 5.662 tests came back in the past 24 hours.

In addition, 6 citizens, unfortunately, lost their lives today, bringing the total number of fatalities to 3.329, since the outbreak of the pandemic in our country.

There are currently, 23.168 active cases in our country, 136 of whom have been hospitalized.

1.794 citizens have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 227.629.

The ministry of health continued its appeal, inviting all citizens over the age of 16 to get vaccinated.

‘Vaccination is also open to all children over the age of 12, who suffer from autoimmune diseases and have a doctor’s recommendation.
