The Vlora River Road is under preparations in order to be accessible during the touristic season.

The news was made public by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama during an inspection at the worksite.

“We’re very happy to reveal a piece of paradise that is unknown. These two roads are a dream from 100 years ago”, said the head of the executive.

According to Rama, the connection of the Laberia mountain tops with the Ionian in the West, and the cities of Gjirokastra and Tepelena to the East will create even more facilitations for the economy as well as tourism.

“We’re bringing a whole new ground for tourism”, said PM Edi Rama.
