Three citizens have died from COVID-19 related complications in the last day, declared Albania’s health ministry, while 45 have tested positive.
More than 121,100 citizens have recovered from the beginning of the pandemic, an additional 1,050 more from yesterday.
According to the ministry, there are 86 patients being treated at hospital premises, of which 7 in intensive wards.
The worst-affected area is the capital, Tirana, counting the highest infection as well as mortality rate.
The official death toll from the virus is 2,426, according to a tally kept by public health authorities.
