Today, the German government has decided to recognize all Albanian driver’s licenses. The same is true for Kosovo’s licenses as well.
This new regulation will begin to be implemented as soon as it is published in the official gazette.
PM Edi Rama was the one to share this news on this official page. According to him, this new decision confirms the progress made by Albania in the past 8 years.
Diplomats in Berlin have confirmed that it was former chancellor Angela Merkel’s influence that sped up the process that led to the recognition of Albanian drivers’ licenses.
