EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will host on Wednesday an informal dinner in Brussels with the leaders of the Western Balkans.
The event was confirmed by EU spokesperson Peter Stano.
The dinner will involve a discussion on the future of the region and key challenges being faced in current days.
“The agenda will include a changed security environment in Europe in light of Russia’s illegal aggression against Ukraine”, added Stano in a press release.
It is unknown whether PM Albin Kurti or President Vjosa Osmani will attend the dinner, as they are both currently on a visit to the US.
Meanwhile, Serbian Aleksandar Vucic responded positively to the invitation.
