Dea Film Festival will return this year to turn Tirana into one large open-air cinema.
From June 23-28, international films will be shown on screens set up across the capital city.
39 titles from 29 countries will be shown during a 5-day festival.
Albanian cinema will be represented by Jonid Jorgji’s film titled ‘2 lions head to Venice’.
On Thursday, the festival will kick off with a co-production between Bosnia, Montenegro, and Serbia.
The festival’s main theme this year will center around humanism, as directors strive to bring the public back to the movie theaters as we approach a post-pandemic future.
