The Democratic Party has published several new documents related to the incinerators’ affair.
It was Belind Kellici who made them public through a press briefing earlier today.
DP’s new accusations are linked to a company that according to them, has committed tax evasion.
The company that is being denounced is Ave Consulting and according to Kellici, they have been involved in several other major projects in the capital city.
“The first document is the contract for the supervision work of Tirana’s incinerator valued at 649.440 euros and the second document is the confirmation granted to this company for the completion of construction work on the incinerator of Fier, signed on March 21, 2021. This new affair doesn’t start here, nor does it end here,” – said Kellici, while citing several other violations allegedly committed by this same company in projects like the “research study for the demolition of the National Theater, and the project for the construction of Tirana’s New Ring”.
DP has asked SPAK to wake up and investigate this, by saying that “all those who witness a crime and remain passive, simply turn into silent culprits”.
