The European Union has reacted in connection to today’s adoption of the new judicial map by the Council of Ministers.
Through a reaction on their social media page, the EU expressed their approval by saying that this is an important step in improving the efficiency of Albania’s courts.
According to the EU, the new map has been drafted by KLGJ as a result of a long consultation with experts of the block, the Council of Europe, and the US.
“Today’s adoption of the new judicial map by the Council of Ministers is an important step to improve the efficiency of courts in Albania. The new map, developed by the High Judicial Council, is the result of an extensive consultation process and has been developed with the support of EU, Council of Europe and US experts. A solid implementation plan is now key,” – stated the reaction.
