Journalist Genc Burimi said in an interview for Euronews Albania that America is behind the new evidence related to the case of January 21 published by journalist Artan Hoxha.

According to Burimi, this is related to the current position of the USA on the two groups in DP, that of Berisha and that of Basha.

“Artan Hoxha says he got it from foreign services, and it is 100 percent certain that the Americans are behind this. Why did they keep it for 12 years and only bring it out now? At that time they treated Berisha as a statesman, murders against demonstrators are not unique to Albania, in the USA it happened in the Capitol, in front of the whole world. These are things that happen in a democracy and they know it very well. The Americans are playing in favor of the Basha group today. In the midst of all this, Rama emerges, who comes out today and says to SPAK: go on investigate, you also appointed that judge you yourself wanted, Rama tells Americans. Today, Rama benefits from making Basha ‘dirty’ because Basha’s name appears in the audio-registration,” said Burimi.
