The Evangelical Brotherhood of Albania has reacted to the idea of ​​creating a sovereign state of the ‘Bektashi Order’ within the territory of the Republic of Albania.

Through a post on the official Facebook page, the Evangelical Brotherhood writes that it wants to know more about this proposal.

It is also stated in the response that the Evangelical Brotherhood is interested in discussing how this decision will affect the preservation of religious harmony and equality.

Reaction of the Evangelical Brotherhood of Albania:

Through the media, we have been informed about the newest idea that is happening in our country to create a “new State of the Bektashi Order”.

The Albanian Evangelical Brotherhood wants to know more about this proposal.

As Evangelicals, we are always influencing the progress of religious harmony and the Evangelical Brotherhood is always the protagonist of religious tolerance.

We request that this decision does not affect the progress of harmony, tolerance and religious equality. That is why we are waiting to hear and be informed more about this plan and to be part of these decisions that are happening in our country.

We are interested in discussing how this decision will affect the preservation of religious harmony and equality. We must understand this idea more clearly and then we will give our opinion as one of the religious communities of this country, but also as fellow citizens in the Republic of Albania.
