PM Edi Rama stated that AKSH’s counteroffensive in response to the cyberattack against Albania’s information systems is resulting to be successful.

Through a post on his Twitter account, Rama highlighted that the aggressor hasn’t been able to break through our defense system and is in the process of retaliating.

“If there won’t be any other surprises, our services should be back up soon!” – wrote the head of government.

The news of the cyberattack was made public yesterday by the National Agency of Information Association.

As a result, online services and government systems will remain shut until a complete neutralization of the cyber aggressors.

According to AKSH, this sophisticated cyberattack on our national information systems comes from outside Albanian territories.
