Albanian comedian Florian Binaj urged citizens to join the protest.

“Albanian overthrew a dictatorship when they joined forces. If we all stand up against this, not only we will succeed in lowering taxes, but we may take what is rightfully ours as citizens”, said Binaj.

Binaj said that while citizens protest price hikes, PM Edi Rama is in Dubai.

He drew a comparison with the Ukrainian president who gave courage to his people in the midst of a war, meanwhile PM Rama told citizens to “brace for the rising prices”.
