The Court of Appeal has decided to dismiss the case regarding the Democratic Party’s statute, after the withdrawal of the appeal by Enkelejd Alibeaj.
The news was announced in a statement to the press by the legal representative of DP, Indrit Sefa.
“Because the statute approved by the Assembly back in July 2021 is the act on which it is claimed that the meeting of the so-called Assembly of December 11, 2021, was based, the continuation of the trial of this case simply prevents the trial of the case on the legitimacy of the Assembly of December 11 and the solution of the legitimacy of the governing bodies of the Democratic Party”, he said.
Alibeaj also requested that the decisions of the assemblies of July 17 and December 18 be registered together.
After the suspension of this case, the battle for the Democratic Party will continue only on the trial of Agron Zhukri’s decision regarding who the seal of the Democratic Party belongs to.
