Arben Pëllumbi gave his intake on some of the characteristics that the next Albanian should have, following a meeting of the Socialist Party.

Pellumbi, the Organizational Secretary of the SP said that he proposed, a man, a woman, a civil society activist, and a politician.

In an interview on Euronews Albania, Pëllumbi said that he would like the new president to be from the SP Parliamentary Group.

He also added that Socialists have already rolled out the process for the election of the president.

Constitutionalist Fabian Topallaj, on the other hand, says that Edi Rama will choose his favorite candidate, but “he is devising a process to appear as if he wants to elect a consensual president”.
