The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, considered the audio recording of a radio communication by the former commander of the Guard, Ndrea Prendi, where he gave instructions and orders to his subordinates to open fire against the January 21 protestors, a manipulation by Ardi Veliu, who is currently the director of the Police Supervision Agency.
In a statement to the press from DP’s headquarters, Berisha said that it is up to the media, to tell the truth about the audio recording and added that everything was fabricated by Veliu.
“First, forget about me commenting on Ardi Veliu’s manipulations. It is up to the media, to tell the truth about this manipulation. I can’t comment on some writing boards that show up as audio and don’t exist, no audio was ever shown. But it can be clearly proved that it is a manipulation and forgery. It’s all a fabrication of Ardi Veliu”, he emphasized
