The price of basic items in North Macedonia has been on the rise, thus making living conditions for regular citizens all the more difficult.
According to data published by the Central Statistics Bureau, around 452 000 citizens in North Macedonia are living on the brink of poverty.
Meanwhile, the state is constantly taking out loans and during the first trimester of the year, more than 4 000 businesses were forced to close due to bankruptcy.
