Heath of SP’s Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, said that he is willing to talk to the opposition’s 3 parliamentary groups on the election of the new president, before the Leader’s Conference set to take place on May 4.
During a press communication from SP’s headquarters, Balla said that if an agreement can be reached amongst all of the opposition’s parliamentary groups, negotiations will be held with each of them.
“Before the Leader’s Conference on May 4, we are ready to sit down with the opposition at any time. For as long as there is no agreement between the different opposition groups, we will negotiate with each group separately, with Alibeaj, Doda and Mediu. If they agree to come together as one, they will be welcomed,” – said Balla.
Balla also underlined that the majority in power doesn’t wish to choose a president with its votes alone, but it wants to organize a process that reaches a broad consensus.
