DP chairman Lulzim Basha said that the Democratic Party is currently undergoing a ‘process of reflection’.
This process according to Basha, started after the disappointing result of the local by-elections, which took place on March 6.
Basha said that he takes full responsibility for the outcome and that he will be calling a meeting of DP’s leadership groups in order to make several important decisions that will shape the party’s future.
Our goal, said Basha, is to have a stronger and more united Democratic Party.
When asked about whether or not he’s planning to call a race for the party’s new leader and whether he’ll run in that race, Basha said that “things are still being discussed”.
