This afternoon, a meeting is expected to take place between President Bajram Begaj and leaders of opposition parties.

Fatmir Mediu, Dashamir Shehi, Vangjel Dule and Agron Duka are expected to be present at the meeting, where the focus will be reaching an agreement on the date of the upcoming local elections.

Elections are expected to be held between April 15 and May 15, as the Constitution prescribes.

Earlier today, a meeting was held between the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, regarding the joint opposition action plan.

Meta, in the 30-minute meeting, was accompanied by MP Petrit Vasili.
