The Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku declared that wind farms will be put into operation in 2025, to produce energy.

In a statement for the press, Balluku said that after the completion of several projects, the ministry intends to increase the production capacity to 4 terawatts per year.

“The wind farms that we are launching today will start work in 2025 and their capacity, depending on the financial offer that we will have, will be from 100-150 megawatts hour. We aim to reach 150 megawatts hour through this auction and this is our target objective. In 2028, Skavica, the entire extension with 210 megawatt hours of production, will be put into operation.

All these calculations, which I underline, aren’t just on paper, but rather they are projects that have already started and will be finished according to their contracts. Our calculation is that the production capacity of our country, will increase to 4 terawatts per year”, said Balluku.
