Sali Berisha said that he will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Albania and the USA with the real people in Mirdita.
Asked by the media outside the Assembly if he would be in the square to celebrate, Berisha said that he would celebrate with real Albanians and not with members of the administration who were ordered to be there.
Euronews Albania journalist Ardit Hoxha asked Berisha about how he felt that he wouldn’t be part of the official celebrations of the American embassy for the 100th anniversary of their diplomatic establishment between Albania and the USA, Berisha answered with a joke.
“In fact, celebrating with the USA with Rama and Balla is the same as going to the White House with Tahiri,” said Berisha
