Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha declared that he doesn’t consider Socialists his enemies, only the PM Edi Rama.
During his remarks before youth in Durres, Berisha said that Rama is his only enemy because he doesn’t allow Albanians to vote freely.
Berisha also said that after undermining Albanians’ right to vote, Rama banned voting from within the Socialist Party as well.
“I’ve said this before you and all Albanians on July 7, he is my enemy and I’ve said this with absolute conviction. He is an enemy because he doesn’t allow Albanians to vote. All there is to freedom is the ability to vote. If you can’t vote you’re not free. If you can’t vote, you don’t have dignity. I can assure Socialists that they are not my enemies, absolutely not. I only consider Edi Rama an enemy, because he robbed them of their right to vote too,” – said Berisha.
