The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said that every means neccessary will be used to offer Albanians a guarantee that they can vote freely.
In an interview for “Now” with Erla Mehilli on Euronews Albania, Berisha said that the battle against Prime Minister Rama’s government has begun and will continue. According to him, everything will be done so that citizens can vote freely.
“Believing that Edi Rama is determined to respect the vote is absolutely like believing in the square circle. Edi Rama can never accept a fair vote. If you don’t vote, there can be no rule of law, no justice.
Let no one think that I have any illusions that he will allow a free vote. If he continues in this way, we too will respond in all means neccessary. Any way. If I had been in Lul Basha’s place, I would not have left my place on the ground on April 27. We will vote. We will do everything to allow Albanians to vote. The battle has begun, it will continue and it won’t be stopped” said the chief democrat.
