The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has declared that the next opposition protest will take place on December 6.
“The November 12 protest must continue with other protests, and I think December 6 is a unique date, a historic occasion for the opposition people to raise their voices before the highest representatives of European democracies, before the whole world. Exactly with this agenda, our battle against monism and the existence of pluralism begins. The protection of the greatest public asset that Albanians have today, the port of Durres. It is being plundered in the most unimaginable way, it is being appropriated by Rama’s clan. He has transformed Albanians into a people of rafts, like no other nation in Europe”, said Berisha in a press conference.
The head of the DP also underlined that he welcomes the heads of state and governments of the EU to the protest.
“We welcome all the heads of state and governments of the EU. Our protest aims first of all to prove that in this country, which is being impoverished, stolen, and deserted every month and more, democratic aspirations are strong. I invite you to take this protest of ours as an act of goodwill towards them and definitely a hostile, flagrant, open act towards Edi Rama who with his affairs puts every nation, citizen, person, freedom, pluralism, rights, transparency, and every anything else to shame. This was my proposal for today”, he said.
