The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke in Parliament about the Port of Durres.

He accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama of bringing about the privatization law for his own self-interest alone and that Aleksandër Vucic.

“The Port of Durrës has a territory of 1.2 million square meters. The Port of Durrës is a construction plot worth at least 3 billion euros. The Port of Durrës, developed in construction as claimed by Dubai City, may be worth another 3 billion. But who are these who take our port? Are there any Albanians who know? No,” said the chief democrat.

Berisha called on the people of Durres to ask around about who these people are and why are they taking their port, which is an Albanian public property.

“I’ll tell them who they are. It is being taken by a company that appears to be from the emirates, but at a closer look it is basically Edi Rama, Aleksandar Vucic, Nebojsha and Dragomir Karric, i.e. the companies of the Karric brothers who have all the shares with Llukashenko of Belarus,” claimed Berisha.
