Analyst Anndi Bushati said during tonight’s ‘Shock’ that the probability for the unification of Albania and Kosovo doesn’t exist for as long as Kosovo isn’t 100% independent.
Bushati argued that in order for this to happen, there needs to be an agreement with Serbia, membership into the UN and recognition from 5 EU member states.
“The only way this would be possible before any of this is through an exchange of territories,” – he said.
According to the analyst, unification is practically impossible if none of the above-mentioned scenarios were to take place, which is why we need to talk about a unification that comes naturally.
“Any other effort to me seems absolutely impossible, however good we treat one another,” – argued Bushati.
In addition, he said that even Albin Kurti, who used to lead the unification cause, has now understood that there is nothing concrete except for rhetoric.
