The Central Election Commission (CEC) has certified the result of the snap parliamentary elections held on the 14 of February.
The Commission has so paved the way to the reconstitution of the new legislative, competency of the acting President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani.
According to the final results certified on Sunday by CEC, Vetëvendosje won the largest share of the votes, respectively 50.28%.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) won 17.09%, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) won 12.73%, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (7.12%) and Serb List (SL) 5.09%.
Meanwhile, Ujedinjena Zajednica – Adrijana Hodzic citizens’ initiative, UZ-AH, did not secure enough votes to win a seat in the Assembly.
CEC’s announcement comes after the Election Complaint and Appeal Panel (ECAP) and the Supreme Court confirmed that there are no more complaints pending review.
